The hair will grow back at the same rate and with the same texture as before. Unlike shaving, which cuts hair at an angle creating a blunt edge, dermaplaning uses a specialized blade that removes hair flush with the skin surface, so when it grows back, it doesn't appear thicker or darker.

Dermaplaning is safe for most skin types, but we don't recommend it for those with active acne, severe rosacea, extremely sensitive skin, or active skin infections. It's excellent for dry, normal, combination, oily, and mature skin types, as well as those with sun damage, fine lines, or dull skin.
